Classes
Beginner Class (75 minutes)
Tue & Thur 4:30pm-5:45pm
The beginner class is designed for individuals with no prior fencing experience or knowledge. Its primary goal is to spark interest in fencing and establish a foundation of fencing knowledge. Through a combination of fun activities and physical training, participants will grasp basic fencing concepts including combat techniques, actions and tactics, coordination, footwork, and continuity, laying a solid groundwork for future training.
Intermediate Class (1 hour 45 mins)
Tue,Thur (6:00pm-7:45pm)
Sat (11:45am-1:30pm)
The intermediate class is tailored for participants with some foundational fencing knowledge and physical abilities. Through deeper understanding of fencing, participants will be able to independently determine fencing rules and regulations while accumulating practical experience.
Advance Class (2 hours 30 minutes) Mon,Wed,Fri (6:00pm - 8:30pm)
Sat (2:00pm-4:30pm)
The advance class is composed of fencers with strong physical abilities and higher levels of tactical knowledge. Most students have experience competing in North American and international competitions (achievable within approximately one year). Through one-on-one coaching sessions and extensive practical training, participants will refine their individual combat abilities. Scoring combat training aids fencers in improving their perception and understanding of scoring in Saber matches, as well as the allocation and application of tactics. Combat integrates physical fitness and technical skills, and only through continuous combat training can fencers apply the skills learned in class, enhancing their speed, fitness, dominance, field control, and resilience, thus becoming outstanding Saber athletes!
